So the LDS General Conference is going on. I haven't been active in I don't even know how long and in fact, I just sent an email to have my name removed from the records so we will see.

But anyway, there was a talk this afternoon, from Elder Richard G. Scott containing this gem, "I feel sorry for any man who hasn't yet made the choice to seek an eternal companion and my heart weeps for the sisters who haven't had the opportunity to marry."

Wow. So if a man is single, it's because he hasn't made the choice to get married yet, but if a woman is, it's because she hasn't had the opportunity.

Well, fuck that.
